IHG Colleague Path Notes is an independent publication of Jon Rogan. The publisher has not supplied affiliation details. This independent editorial site is not a provider login or support portal. We explain what open IHG pages say about Merlin identity, hotel role categories, guest benefit steps and employee tasks. We are not IHG, its IT team, a hotel property, an account issuer or a booking service.
Source boundaries
We rely on IHG’s Network account request instructions, the public identity entry, employee room benefit page, internal careers instructions and the IHG University story. A public page can describe a process but cannot verify a particular Network ID, invitation or permission. Articles and two original silent videos were prepared with automated assistance and edited for separate reader tasks. Hypothetical cases are labeled as such.
